Our Story
Dr. Deeksha Mehtani is a cancer immunologist by training and a formulator by instinct. After 10+ years in research, she witnessed firsthand how synthetic chemicals and lifestyle toxicity were silently impacting the body—from the skin to the cellular level.
What began as her personal journey to create safer, purer solutions for issues like hair fall, hormonal breakouts, and chronic fatigue soon evolved into a deeper pursuit: how can India’s rich botanical heritage be harnessed in a way that is both clinically relevant and truly consumer-first?

Mr. Rajesh Mehtani is the guiding force and soul behind La Botanique International. With over 20 years of experience in Ayurvedic manufacturing and natural product formulation, he has dedicated his life to creating remedies that work in harmony with the body, mind, and nature.
Every formulation under La Botanique is born from his unwavering commitment to purity, authenticity, and effectiveness. Even today, he is involved in every stage of product development—from sourcing herbs to perfecting blends—ensuring that each creation carries the warmth and wisdom of true Ayurveda.
Our Co-Founder
Cancer Immunologist | Ayurvedic Formulator
Dr. Deeksha Mehtani is a trained scientist with a doctorate in cancer immunology and a deep passion for holistic healing. Her research into how the human body responds to stress, inflammation, chemical toxicity and allergy, gave her a profound understanding of what often goes wrong beneath the surface—long before visible symptoms appear.
After 10+ years in research and battling her struggles with post-research burnout & skin sensitivity, she returned to ayurveda. What began as a personal experiment evolved into a full-fledged product line: cleaner, more targeted formulas that blend ancient Ayurvedic wisdom with modern clinical insight.
Today, Dr. Mehtani leads the formulation of products at La Botanique. She believes the future of Ayurveda lies not in merely preserving tradition, but in evolving it—making it clinically relevant, consumer-first, and deeply effective for modern lives.
